The Castlegar Heritage Society & Museum invites artists of all ages to celebrate the city’s rich railway history through colour, creativity, and imagination. The Our Past, Our Future Colouring Contest encourages participants to bring Castlegar’s train-themed pages to life — honouring the stories of our past while envisioning the journeys ahead.

Contest Details:  Participants can pick up colouring sheets at the Castlegar Museum or download them below. Entries may be submitted in person or by email until August 15, with winners announced in late August. Every submission will be displayed in a special community gallery at the museum — a vibrant showcase of local talent and heritage.

Age Categories
• 0–6 years: Little Conductors
• 7–12 years: Junior Engineers
• 13 and up: Heritage Artists

Prizes on the Tracks
•Thomas the Train Puzzle Book (Ages 0–6)
•Two Hancock House Colouring Books (Ages 7–12)
•300-Piece Train Puzzle (Ages 13 and up)
