Harvest at the Station

 Join us for Harvest at the Station on October 3rd from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. There will be a variety of vendors offering vegetables, baking, arts and crafts, hot food and more. In addition, there will be live music from singer/songwriter Sarah Orton, drumming from Lance Ledger and music from Jack Hamelin. This will be the last farmers market of the season so be sure to come out and get items from your favourite vendors.

At the Station Museum in the courtyard, the Castlegar & District Heritage Society is offering fun and games for the whole family to mark the end of a fabulous season at the Museum.  The activities will include a pie auction, traditional hot cider made from fresh apples, a photo booth, traditional kids’ games and more! The Heritage Society will also offer a 50/50 draw, with tickets on sale the day of the event at both the market and at the Museum.

These two events combined will offer an afternoon of entertainment in celebration of the harvest season.  It will be a great opportunity to come and meet old friends and make some new ones.
